Seminar No 4 in Hungary

The last seminar will focus on "Conflict of Laws: Applicable law in contractual and non-contractual obligations" and shall take place at the premises of the National Office for the Judiciary / Hungarian Academy of Justice in Budapest, on 13-14 February 2014.

This seminar will analyse the Rome I and Rome II Regulations, and shall focus on the:

• Scope of application of Rome I and Rome II
• Applicable law in international contracts
• Applicable law in cross-border torts
• Amendment of the Rome II Regulation
• Interactive workshops: Solving of practical case studies in smaller working groups

The seminar will be held in English and Hungarian with simultaneous interpretation provided. It will be conducted by experts from the participating Member States and the EU.

IMPORTANT: All those who had participated on the event are obliged to upload REPORT from this event within 30 days after their return and no later than 31 December 2014. The report may be written in Slovak or English language.
